Lori Beth Kaye

A brief walk down career lane.

My name is Lori Kaye, I am a Senior Product Designer at THE ICONIC (also known as Zalora in Asia).

Before joining THE ICONIC, I designed for banking, government and FMCG clients working across client side, consulting and agency roles.

I first discovered my passion for design when I started my career as a Digital Account Manager, I was drawn to more than just colour and style, I was interested in how things formed, the process behind them and discovering the simple solution.

Success comes from process

I am most passionate about solving problems. I believe great design is a result of deep understanding of the problem you’re trying to solve, coupled with a beautifully executed solution. I ultimately believe success comes from a strong design process.

I most enjoy designing for mobile apps but have extensive experience across desktop and mobile too. When I am not designing I like learning new skills,

like the front-end development online course I am doing right now. I also enjoy thinking of new business ideas and have dabbled in the start-up life.
